I wanted to quickly share a small adjustment that’s been a game changer for me.
I made a decision at the start of the year to cut out social media before bed.
I challenged myself to read instead.
The goal was to read 10 pages, but that was just a guideline.
Simply picking up the book would be a sufficient substitute.
Keeping it simple to start.
I’m proud to say that it’s the 22nd of January and last night I just completed a 200 page
educational book!
At this pace, I will be able to read a book a month–12 books a year!
But the biggest benefit so far has been how much better my sleep has been.
No racing mind, no negative emotions. I tire faster and I look forward to continuing where I
left off the night before.
My intention at the beginning was to be more productive before bed which I accomplished,
but the secondary benefits have exceeded my expectations.
I turned 15-30 minutes of wasted time into something much more productive.
Big changes start with small adjustments.
What would you do with an extra 15 minutes each day?
